Who we are

Michael Lane is a Chartered Engineer and trades as a Planning & Design Consultant.

He is an Affiliate Member of The Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and also holds a BSc. in Construction Technology from Bolton St. (DIT), Dublin.

Michael worked in the family business (M Lane & Co Ltd) for a number of years before forming Lane Planning & Design in 2003. The business was re-branded to WicklowPlanning.com. in August 2023

What we do

The principal activities we undertake include the initial design and preparation of planning applications for, houses and extensions.

We also prepare applications for retention permission for a variety of un-authorized developmets
